My eldest daughter loves it too (watching it at the moment) and I commented to my Mum the other day about it being the same format as Balamory and my daughter enjoyed that too

Sam loves Me Too!! When i watched it with him on monday i thought it was absolute rubbish but now i've watched a few episodes its really grown on me. Its nice that the some of the people have jobs you wouldnt really hear about like market trader, bus cleaner etc. And i love the songs!!! The only slight annoyance for me is Granny Murrays "hello hunnypie" bit.

I can't bear it! my DD's not too keen either. BRING BACK BALAMORY! the only decent thing in it is some spectacular views of newcastle!!

It'll never beat balamory but it's a reasonable imitation. My DH was very confused about all the views of the bridges across the Tyne and stuff when they all have Scottish accents lol.

HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT!!!
It makes me want to mouthfull.
And it is too like balamory, to the point where you can almost sing the balamary theme tune to the music, they are that similar.
And what are they saying when they do that cloud thing and think about where someone else is - "flibberty tingle, flibberty whatsit" What are they saying???

I watched it in full with Noah yesterday afternoon and at the end told him very firmly you have seen it once and you are never watching it again - I thought it was hideous, so the structure is the same to Balamory but I would rather him see that than this - awful, awful, awful.

I haven't seen it yet but Rory is a huge Balamory fan and to be honest I would much rather he watch programmes with real people and situations he can relate to than some of the rubbish like Fimbles and Gordon the Garden Gnome.

Ryan also like watching " deal or no deal" big smile

I really don't like it. DD keeps asking me to sing the "I'm on my way to work today" song and I only know that line! Really winding me up.

Also, what's with the mish-mash of cityscapes, so you get liverpool, manchester, newcastle and probably tonnes more?

Did you really say that and mention Balamory in the same sentance!

I didn't like Balamory (it used to iritate the hell out of me that they'd always come up with some impractical, implausable solution to a problem that could easily have been solved in a 'real' way! ). It was never a fav with dd either.

I've only seen one Me Too ( and I thought it was quite nausating), but my two did seem quite fascinated, so we'll see......

Does anybody know the words to the theme tune? the bit about riverty tingle or dingle or a link showing all the lyrics whistle.

I would really appreciate it.

thanks

I saw it this morning and I thought it was awful. That horrible old biddy in the pink taxi is completely tone deaf- why on Earth do they let her sing?

Just finished watching it here and don't really rate it. DD still watched it though and DS age 6 knows all the charactersblush. The place is called Riverseafingal by the sea or something like that so that's what they are singing in the theme tune. Plus as a teacher I wish my class was like the one on there. The bloke only has about 10 children and last week he taught them nothing and even had a snooze in the classroom. Where's Ofsted when you need it!!?

<------- Stands up

My name is Carrie and my children are already Me Too! addicts!

Ok, so there I have admitted it! blush

My DD even greets me, when I return from work with "Oh hello, do come in to granny's house!!" - it's worse coz she does sound like her in own wee Scottish voice!

Glasgow, Edinburgh and London too.  I think it's so that lots of children see something they recognise and can relate to.
