Welcome to babyworld news October

Which camp do you fall into: work-at-home mum, work-outside-the-home mum, stay-at-home mum? You see there I go giving you labels! Perhaps we should start appreciating each other's unique contributions to society and forget the working mum stereotypes because, frankly, every mum is a working mum. In our new and bulging section on working parents we focus on returning to work - whatever that is! From looking and feeling the part again to minimizing the morning chaos (no you are not imagining it. Your child has a sixth sense that alerts her to filling her nappies, in a very smelly way, when you're in a hurry) how to spot a great nursery and pick a great childminder. And if you're still at the 'to work or not to work' stage then this article is for you!

    Product review of the month
The Jane Indy Plus car seat

This month's winner is Emma from Somerset for her review on the Jane Indy Plus Car Seat. Emma was particularly impressed with the safety features on the Indy and has found it 'a brilliant incentive for my daughter to travel in a car seat'. 'She loves the pink colour and really enjoys sitting in it, whereas the solid structure and adjustable head, arm and side rests provide maximum protection for your child whilst on the go'.

A fantastic stuffed cow called Maisie!

Suzy Williams, moderator of this forum says " It showed babyworld's community spirit at its best. Everyone came up with suggestions and finally one was found on ebay - the whole forum was on tenterhooks to see if Angie's bid would secure another Maisie for her daughter! It was such a relief when her bid was accepted."
