News from the babyworld shop team
Just because your baby can't eat chocolate yet, doesn't mean they can't have a wonderful Easter too! We've taken 15% off anything with a 'Bunnies' theme so you'll find lots of little gems in our Easter Gift Ideas section - Kaloo rabbits, Trudi ducks and chicks, Peter Rabbit Grobags and Peter Rabbit Stickarounds. And if you're trying to limit the choccy treats that your toddler is consuming how about a Tomy Eggy Weggy, a bathtime fizzer with a surprise squirter, or a Nano Egg, a mesmerising miniature scene inside an egg? Heaps of fun and no cavities!

Sugar sense for families
We don't want to be kill-joys but there is always a lot of debate on our forums about how to manage kids' insatiable appetite for all things sweet. As Easter, the biggest sweet-fest of the year, is just around the corner we take a look at the role sugar plays in children's diets and suggest ways to control a potentially sweet tooth!

How my breasts saved the world
We loved the title of this book - but did it live up to its promises of a great read? babyworld's bookclub regularly reviews books that we think will inspire, entertain or inform you. So, put the kettle on and join us for a good read....

Every child born on or after 1st September 2002 is eligible for a Child Trust Fund account
Launched in 2005, the Child Trust Fund is a new savings and investment account designed to give children a financial head start in life and to help teach them the value of saving.

All eligible children will automatically receive a £250 voucher from the Government to kick-start their Child Trust Fund account. Children born before 6th April will receive a slightly larger initial payment. To find out more visit www.childtrustfund.gov.uk

New baby - new tax credits
Nine out of 10 families with children are entitled to tax credits! Whether you are already receiving tax credits or haven't yet claimed - why not make sure you are getting what you are entitled to? Once your new baby arrives let the Inland Revenue know that your circumstances have changed.

It's easy - just visit www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk/taxcredits

Egg-sactly
As this is the month that eggs get mentioned a lot, we decided to take a look at the world of eggs from a fertility point of view. PDG, or pre-implantation genetics, is a hot subject, in which only 'healthy' embryos are implanted in the womb, creating a 'designer baby'. Find out more about this controversial assisted conception treatment.

Poo-ey moments!
We have found them in a closet, in the flowerbeds and smeared over walls - we're talking poo - and that's just our experiences of potty training our tots! What are yours?! Tell us your funny, frustrating and messy potty-training stories plus your tips for success and the first 10 entries will each receive a Tomy Eggy Weggy bathtime fizzer. Please send your story to: community@babyworld.co.uk

Out and about
As Easter approaches and the better weather does too, (we hope) many families are looking for a day out in the fresh air. Here's a great selection that your pre-schoolers will love!
