Tummy Tub time!

Click here to find out more! Welcome to babyworld news June 2005

Is your baby the boss in the family or are you the one who imposes the 2 Rs - rules and routines?! As new parents it's often tricky deciding on which parenting-style is right for you - a relaxed approach or perhaps a regimented framework gets you through the day. This is one of the big parenting conundrums which we have explored this month - if routines make a happy, reassured child or is it better to go with the flow? Plus we ask parent coach, Debbie Lewis, what it is that children really want and need.

Happy parenting and have a good month!

News from the babyworld shop team
Is it a bucket, is it a bowl, is a bath. No, it's a Tummy Tub and it's been our top pick newborn product since we launched the babyworld shop last year. Mimicking the security and warmth of the womb, babies naturally relax at bath time in their Tummy Tubs. The recent media frenzy (Sunday Telegraph, Express, Mail, the Richard and Judy show) has done a brilliant job of raising awareness but most journalists are convinced it's a fad. But then they initially dismissed PCs and mobile phones! It’s here to stay at babyworld and long may it reign!

Also this month, look out for more innovative products that make going away on holiday with your baby a breeze. From the Quinny Zapp, the worlds smallest stroller, to microwave sterilizer bags, mozzie repellent, swim nappies and float suits, sun proection and travel cots as well as funky changing bags that will keep everything organised you can be confident that you’ll be travelling light, in style and with practical products that make life as a new parent a bit easier.

Finally, here's a useful holiday service we've discovered. No longer do you have to stuff your overloaded suitcases with packs of nappies, jars of babyfood and tins of formula milk. You just order your favourite brands in advance from Tiny Traveller and it will all be at your villa/hotel/campsite/apartment to coincide with your arrival.
