Working Mum
Supermum's days are over...

Drop in on our Working Mothers' Forum and you will soon spot that one of the most regular debates is whether 'stay-at-home mum' is better than 'working mum' or vice versa.

Well, the debate looks set to rage again as a new report says that supermum - a mum who holds down a career whilst running the family home - is falling out of favour with the public. Instead, there is "growing sympathy for the old-fashioned view that a woman's place is in the home rather than in the office".

Interestingly, the report doesn't mention the effect of fathers going out to work. Oops! Did I just see the touch paper ignite? Why not pop into the Discuss, Debate and Deliberate forum and have your say and read the full news story here?
