Warm and snug but having fun!
Warm and snug but having fun!

Welcome

January has arrived, and with it the freezing weather conditions, making me feel that the last thing I want is fruit!

We all feel that we need to detox after Christmas, but really all we need to do is stop consuming all that chocolate and drink more water and get a goods night sleep. Your children will benefit from this approach too, helping them to cope with the freezing conditions and fend off all those colds.

It is probably not wise to think of taking up "faddy" diets when you are pregnant. What you need to consider is embarking on a lifestyle change to your diet that is sustainable all year and one that will help keep your young families, healthy and strong for all of 2009 and not just January.

Have a healthy and prosperous year.....

Take care of your feetTake care of your feet
Every day your feet take on average 5210 steps, although on busier days this can rise to over 10,000. Despite this, your feet are the most neglected part of your body. When you're pregnant, the extra weight is even more work for your feet. It's no wonder then that so many expectant mums really feel the day in their feet.
