Nicole Kidman refuses to sell baby pictures
Actress Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban have refused to sell
pictures of their baby girl, Sunday Rose, to the highest bidder.
Kidman, who gave birth to her first child on July 7th, and her husband
believe it is inappropriate to sell images of the newborn.
They have decided not to follow in the steps of celebrities like Jennifer
Lopez, who sold exclusive pictures of twins, Emme and Max, for £3 million,
or Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who have sold their twins pictures for
an estimated £6 million.
Instead they are discussing whether or not to release one image of the
baby for free or just keep her hidden away from the public altogether.
A friend of the couple told the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper: "They
don't think it's appropriate to make deals.
"They are still deciding how they feel about it - if and when they will
release a photo at all.
"But they realise there is enormous interest from the public and they
are grateful and appreciative of that."
The couple, who married in 2006, also refused an exclusive wedding deal
for their marriage and released one official photo to news agencies.
