Baby girls for Cross and Katona
Desperate Housewife star, Marcia Cross, and Atomic Kitten, Kerry Katona,
have both given birth early to baby girls.
Cross, who plays uptight home-maker Bree Van de Kamp in the hit show,
gave birth to the non-identical twin girls several weeks earlier than
her April due date.
The girls, reportedly named Eden and Savannah, are doing well, according
to publicist Heidi Slan.
Cross, 44, was placed on bedrest in January, and filmed
scenes for the show in her own living room which was transformed into
that of her character.
In December, she told US magazine People that having babies
later in life was "like a miracle" which she didn't think would happen,"
In the UK, former singer Kerry Katona has also given birth
to a baby girl a month early.
The singer married Mark Croft at Gretna Green just a week
ago on Valentine's Day.
She already has two daughters, Molly, five, and Lilly Sue,
four, by former husband Brian McFadden.
Both mother and daughter, called Heidi Elizabeth, are doing
well, according to spokesman Max Clifford.
"The baby was a little early but that wasn't too much of
a surprise," he said.
Kerry admitted she hadn't enjoyed this pregnancy.
"It's been the worst pregnancy ever," she said. "It's made
me want to have my tubes tied, get the coil, go on the pill, get the injection
and get Mark the snip - that's how much I've hated it."
