Although this hotel is a glamorous Edwardian building with a sense of
history, the management have established a place where everyone from the
youngest baby to the oldest grandparent is welcome. Extensive renovations in the past two years have created a family-friendly environment with everything parents of young children could need; from family suites and playrooms to a toddler swimming pool and a fantastic high tea with nine main meal options. Plus there is a baby-listening service available so that parents can dine alone at the hotel. Peebles hotel is so intent on attracting families that they run three generation breaks and special baby-bonding weeks, which will take place from 2 to 7 September and 30 September to 5 October 2001, allowing mums and dads to enjoy stress-free time with their new baby while qualified nannies are present to help out.
