Moonfleet Manor, overlooking the world famous Chesil Beach and the
Fleet Lagoon, is set in the heart of some of England’s least discovered,
yet most staggeringly beautiful countryside. This handsome Georgian manor
presides over a naturally inspirational location of world heritage status.
Accommodation
Moonfleet has 36 bedrooms, which vary greatly in size and style. 30 rooms
are in the main house, 3 specious coach house rooms a short walk from the
hotel and 3 further rooms housed near the swimming pool. The bedrooms are
a great mix of grand Victoriana, Colonial chic and more contemporary spaces.
Most rooms are great for families – the Deluxe and Luxury doubles are fantastic
spaces with the children in the same room, whilst they also have interconnecting
rooms, large suites and huge Coach Houses for families who require a little
more space. Many rooms have Sea views, all have the inimitable Moonfleet
Manor style and comforts. Big fluffy robes, Aquae Sulis toiletries and Egyptian
cotton sheets. The Suites and Coach House are equipped with sofa beds whilst
there is space for travel cots and/or z beds in most other rooms.
Facilities
All rooms have en suite bathrooms, direct dial telephones, satellite
television, radio, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Spa
treatments, massages, beauty treatment are all available through contact
with the reception. A crêche is open all year round and is free
of charge. There is also an outdoor play area with sandpit, climbing frame,
slide and swings. A huge indoor play area has space for soft tennis, table
tennis, table football and pool. Baby listening services is available
in each room, via the telephone system.
Price band
Standard rooms are from £160 to £200, Deluxe rooms from
£195 to £275 and suites from £250 to £360. The
prices quoted are per room, per night, based on two adults sharing and
include accommodation, dinner, newspaper and full English Breakfast. Children
sharing their parents’ room are accommodated free of charge but will be
charged for any meals for those who are 1 year old and over. There is
a 20% reduction for single parents with children.
