The Ponsmere is the ‘Hotel On the Beach’ where your welcome is as
friendly as its location is spectacular. The Ponsmere Hotel is renowned
for it’s relaxed atmosphere, and is a place for your family holiday; from
surfers to toddlers everyone enjoys the natural beauty of Perranporth,
its beach and rugged Atlantic coastline. Perranporth’s location and sandy
beach is one of Cornwall’s finest, a natural playground for all the family,
where the golden sands are an absolute paradise for children, with sea,
surf and Cornish sunshine.
Accommodation
The Hotel has 72 bedrooms all ensuite, a high proportion of these are
family suites, comprising of a double-bedded room with an adjoining room
for the children.
Facilities
All rooms have telephones, televisions, radio, a baby listening service,
tea and coffee making facilities and there is a lift to all floors. There
is an enclosed childrens' play area, snooker table, as well as massage
and beauty treatment(advance booking necessary). High chairs and cots
are provided, and a laundry room with facilities for washing, drying and
ironing is also available.
For Children
There are a number of things for children, such as the outside play area,
a supervised kids club (from 6.30pm to 8pm) dance mats, play stations,
various organised games, sand sculpting and the famous Ponsmere Duck Race!
Nearby
Nearby there are many activities to add to your holiday. The hotel can
organise discounted green fees at Perranporth Golf Club, there is also
horse riding in abundance for beginners and experienced riders. Perranporth
also has grass and hard tennis courts, putting green and boating lake.
If you enjoy walking, they also provide guides to local walks, or else
you can just follow the spectacular coastal path to St Agnes or Holywell
Bay. Fishing is also available and for those that would rather be in the
water surfing lessons can be organised in the village. Cornwall has some
of the most beautiful public gardens in the whole of England. Details

National Trust Houses and places of interest.
Price band
Family Suites range from £28 to £50 per day, depending on
country or sea view, B&B or Half Board, and season. They have a number
of offers for children: Youngest child in family aged 12 and under goes
free when sharing with 2 adults during low season. Again during low season,
children up to 4 years of age have a 75% reduction. Other children from
5 to 10 have a 55% reduction. Offers vary upon season, and can be viewed
on their website under 'Tariff'.
