"the best bottle we have ever used!"
By far the best bottle over used. It is really user friendly and really good for Jim, he has no problems anumore with reflux and colic. I bought these bottles in Holland, a dutch friend told me they are rated as "the best" on the holland market. Difrax is number one in holland!

"here we go"
avent bottles i tried them for both my kids yes they are easy to use and clean but no good for colic and i think the teats are too hard especially if you are mix feeding or trying to get junior off the boob but i did discover a bottle which isnt reviewed here it is free of nasty things we have been hearing about on the news so easy to use and clean only down side it uses bags for which i have only found one supplier they are great for colic as you push all the air out and the teat ia as soft as it can be the bottles are playtex i dont know if i am allowed to put supplier details on here but use google and it will find them for you

"look great but..."
I love the look of these funky bottles and Conor loved using the handles but....Conor would not suck from the teat and instead kept chomping on it. The bottles also did not fit in my steriliser and getting formula in the narrow neck was awkward. All in all we will not be using this again. Shame because they really do look great!

"Drawbacks to Difrax"
I loved the funky design and shape of this bottle but unfortunately that's all that there was to it for us; he was still as sicky as with his usual Avent bottles. He did enjoy using the handles and attempting to feed himself.
The bottles were awkward to fit into my steriliser and one major problem was that the neck of the bottle is not wide enough to fit the formula powder into so I had to balance it upside down to fit the powder into the removable bottom.

"Appearances can be deceptive"
I loved the look and feel
of these bottles, especially the fact that they come with handles for that little bit of independence.
Ethan did not like the small teat, as being used to a much bigger one he had the whole thing in his mouth which reduced the flow of milk.
The bottles did not stand up in my steriliser and because the neck of the bottle was so narrow, I had trouble getting the formula into it.
These bottles would be ideal for use with expressed milk.

"At first a little tricky to use but FANTASTIC"
These bottles are fantastic. Something different with the 's' shape but aswell as looking good actually makes feeding a lot easier and less arm ache.
The teats are much smaller than most bottles and are quite textured. Isabel has been quite fussy about taking a bottle but she didn't seem to have much of a problem taking to these. You can purchase at least 3 types of flow.
The handles are great. As Isabel is becoming more independant she wants to hold her own bottle.
Great to clean as the bottom of the bottles screws off. Easy to use for expressd milk as you can fit ice cubes in the wider bottom.
On a bad point it is tricky to put formula in as once the water is in you have to tip it upside down to put the powder in as the top is not quite wide enough.

"Look good!"
The Difrax bottles look fantastic! A really unusual design in great colours with fab handles - perfect for introducing baby to a beaker later on. I couldnt wait to try this bottle out with Joshua but unfortunately found that he wouldnt take the teat. It is very small. With regular bottles there is plenty of teat to assist with sucking but with the difrax teat he had the whole thing in his mouth and then was trying to suck against the plastic top. After several attempts and a frustrated baby I gave up!
It is also very difficult to add the formula - it wont fit in the top if the bottle is full (8 or 6oz) and although the bottom comes off, I found that you needed an extra hand to hold the bottle whilst adding the formula as you cant stand it upside down.

"loved difrax"
I realy loved the design of these bottles, Theo wasn't too sure of the green one at first, I think he wondered what it was! He soon got use to it and fed really well (he seemed to like the small teat).
The bigger bottle was a bit awkward to fit in the steriliser but I managed to fit it in eventually. I liked the fact that the bottom came off as that made it very easy to clean.
They were a bit expensive but I would recommend them as Theo isn't the best feeder in the world but did really well with these bottles. The only down side was the neck was smaller than other bottles which made adding the powder a bit fiddly but I could live with that as I thought they were great.

"Dippy about Difrax!"
Alfie and I loved these bottles. The funky 's' shape design is more than just aesthetics. It is designed to work in conjunction with the valve in the base of the bottle to reduce colic, burping and vomiting... and it works! I have always had a problem with Alfie in that he tends to be sick inbetween feeds. The Difrax bottle seems to have totally eliminated this problem.
The teats on the bottle are a lot smaller than those on most standard bottles and whilst this may prove unsuitable for some babies Alfie seemed to really like them. He also loved the handles which fit onto the bottles instantly grabbing them and showing Mummy his first little bid for independence!
The only downside to this great bottle is that the large bottles (9oz) don't fit upright in my microwave steriliser. However, the smaller size bottle fits in perfectly and holds 6oz which, now that I am weaning Alfie and reducing his milk intake, is perfectly adequate.
The price tag is slightly higher than the its competitors but in my opinion the Difrax bottles are worth it. I will continue to use these bottles for Alfie.
