"A must have product!"
After my daughter was born we tried many bottles but none helped with her colic. The local Health Visitor was "unable" to advise so after much internet searching I discovered the born free range. Yes they require a little more putting together. Easier to clean that Dr Browns by a mile. They come in small and large and also in glass. Colic be gone! Thankfully they are now available in ToysRus and not just Amazon.com

"Fantastic!"
I only wish the product was around for my daughter when she was born.
Putting aside the BPA issue which is important enough as it is, I find the actual bottle and anti colic vent to be superb.
Before I heard about Born Free I tried the same bottles as we gave our daughter, but my son was suffering from really bad colic (as they often do) and my sister that lives in Cyprus told me that the doctors there actually recommend a specific bottle rather then medicine to solve the problem, and guess what? The bottle they recommend is the Born Free bottle!!!
Anyway, my son took to them in no time at all, and all my friends that have tried them think they are great.
I read they are one of the most popular brands in the States now, and I am not surprised.
My only negative is that their steriliser is a microwave one, which is a shame as I prefer an electric one, so I am using an Avent Steriliser which works with the Born Free bottles, but I would have preferred to use one of their own.
I have just ordered a pack of their new soothers, but will only be in stock in a couple of weeks apparently but when I get them I will report back and let you all know what they are like…

"No problems so far"
I bought the starter set which included 3 small bottles, 1 large bottle, trainer cup, two level 1 teats, two level 2 teats.
Initially it is a bit finnicky to use but once you get used to putting the parts together it is relatively quick with good organisation in advance.
I bought these because of the bisphenol A free element to them.
I would agree with the reviewer above that they do flow fast for a level 1 teat.
Overall-so far so good.
I will be trying out Dr Brown bottles also to see if there is much difference in the way of performance.

"Okay"
These bottles were alright. I had not realised there was a problem with chemicals in bottles but am happy to err on the side of caution and choose a chemical free bottle. However although Conor was happy to feed from them he did dribble a lot of milk out afterwards. In all I would use them again but not as my first choice

"Born Free? Not this bottle!"
I found this bottle a lot more fiddly than the Dr Brown bottle and although the bottle is free of the chemical Bisphenol-A it was something that had never crossed my mind before.
It is very difficult to keep this bottle sterile because of the way the internal valve parts fit together, it is also awkward to clean.
It was not my favourite but I will use the trainer cup again for water.

"Good Product"
I really liked these bottles, especially the fact that they are made from chemical free plastic.
Ethan fed really well from these bottles. He has always bought back a small amount of milk after feeds and these bottles seemed to stop this. I would be quite happy to pay the price of these bottles - especially if they cut down the amount of my washing!
The bottles were easy to clean and fitted easily in to the steriliser.

"Okay but"
These bottles are good that they do not have the chemical Bisphenol - A which is potentially harmful to babies but the yellow colouring makes the bottles look dirty.
It is very tricky if not impossible to keep this bottle sterile as the value has to be removed to fill the bottle.
On a plus point the bottles have the same fitting to the trainer cup so it is very easy to convert to a cup.
You can purchase teats with 5 different flow rates.
Bottles can be used in a dishwasher on the top shelf.
They are priced in the middle of the range but I do not think I will buy them as my first choice.

"Average"
This bottle was a good all rounder and had the bonus of being made from chemical free materials, with two for £10.99, also being good value. There are a wide variety of teats to suit all babies and liquids which was impressive.
The only downside was the valve - there is no way around touching this once sterilized....which could prove a problem in younger babies.

"liked the fact they were chemical free"
Theo fed quite well from these bottles as he liked the soft teat. I liked the fact they were made from 100% chemical free plastic and that they reduced the risk of middle ear infection.
Theo isnt a baby that suffers from colic so I dont know if that was reduced or not.
They only just fitted in my steriliser but because of the valve you have to handle them more when they come out so they were less sterile.
They were good value for money but because of the extra handling I don't think I would use them.

"Great concept but..."
I was initially very impressed with these bottles. Clearly a great deal of thought has gone into their production. The honey coloured plastic which is 100% free of the chemical Bisphenol-A ( which is thought to cause hormonal damage) is reassuring for parents.
Alfie, however, was less than impressed. He seemed to take the milk too quickly and brought a lot back. I was also disappointed with the fact that although fitted with the valve it didn't stop Alfie being sick in between feeds.
On the plus side the bottles fitted into my microwave steriliser and were easy to clean with only a few components. They are a standard size (9oz) so will last from birth onwards and at £10.99 for two are similarly priced to other leading brands.
Overall I was impressed with the thinking behind the product but felt they didn't deliver all they promised.
