"A great water aid for swim fans"
My older boy loves swimming so naturally we introduced Sophie to the water at a young age. She usually wears armbands but this swim seat was a welcome alternative - probably because it was so brightly coloured and she liked the look of it!
I've tried inflatable swim aids like this in the past and I think this is probably one of the best in terms of quality and durability. It's easy to inflate/deflate and doesn't have any of that hard plastic edging that can make tiny legs sore. The back support also adds extra comfort.
Having used it for a couple of weeks, I would say I prefer armbands, only because they give them that little bit extra contact with the water so are better in terms of developing swimming skills. However, I think this seat has its uses and is a great product for babies who are scared of the water and need that little bit of extra encouragement.
