We really liked this wrap , it was easy to put on and kept my 10 month old warmer than her "non wrapped" chums at the swimming pool . It is quite stiff but they can still move their arms and legs easily .
A couple of folk did come up and ask us where we got it from .
Good sizing , should last us a while as the velcro fastenings can grow with the child .
Fab , we loved it !
Best Feature: Easy to use and does keep them warm longer
Worst Feature: Velcro kept sticking to my cossie when taking it off my daughter !
Verdict: Great item if you go swimming regularly

"great for playing longer in the pool !"
We found the baby wrap allowed us more time in the pool, by keeping my 18 month daughter warmer for longer. The wide velcro fastenings on the shoulders, down the front and across the tummy area ment that we could get a pretty good fit, although there was a baggy bit on her waist line at the back -(probably due to having a small 18 month old)
The babywrap comes in a clear bag with handles, which we found useful for storage and my daughter liked carrying it to and from the pool.
I would definately recommend the baby wrap, the only annoying thing was that sometimes the velcro on the babywrap stuck to my swimsuit!

"practical rather than fashionable"
The baby wrap was really useful and practical as it kept Ollie warm through our regular swimming lessons. No restricted movement, a bit difficult to adjust the fastenings when he was wriggling around but nothing too difficult. Great product.
The only thing that put me off was the colours - I tested a turquoise and yellow wrap and it did seem a bit girly. I also think they could have more of a cool surfy image to appeal to boys more.

"Great product"
My son has used several splashabout products and they are all fantastic quality even though we go swimming often. Worth every penny

"Means you can swim for longer"
The wrap means George and I can go swimming for longer. Before we bought this he'd get blue lips after 15 minutes but now we can swim for 30-40 mins before he gets cold.
A bit fiddly to put on and do up and not very attractive - does look like a hot water bottle cover - but does work.

"Fantastic for more time in the pool"
My daughter had one of these 6 years ago when they were still relatively unknown. It allowed us to stay longer in the pool and increased her enjoyment.
When my second daughter came along it was even more important that we had plenty of time in the pool as I had a toddler to amuse too. I bought a baby size suit for my second child and she used it from her first swim at 4 weeks until she graduated onto the 12-24 month suit at about 8 months old.
The suits kept both girls so warm when they were little and really needed that extra heat.
The wet-suit material also makes babies easier to handle in the water - less slippy.
No other design I've seen comes close to the easy to manage and adjust velcro around tummies, bottoms and shoulders, just lay baby on the suit and fasten it up, no shoe-horning involved.
I can't recommend these suits highly enough!

"a must have"
i bought mine second hand for £4 for my six month old little boy, we used it when on holiday.my little boy was in the water for about thirty minutes and then feel asleep for about an hour still in the wrap and it was unbelivable the heat that came of him when we opened it to get him dressed, would pay the full price.

"Not convinced!"
Although I like Splashabout products I did not get on with this at all. It looks like a hot water bottle, doesn't protect a babies arms and legs (in terms of keeping them warm) and the colours are horrid! It was easy to fit but I felt like an idiot parading my child in such a strange contraption!

"keeps baby warm"
This was easy to fit as it opens right out and it secures with velcro so it can be easily adjusted. Ella was very happy in the sea for at least 20 minutes. Excellent quality and available in brightly coloured fabrics. Slightly on the expensive side but worth the money.

"Not very practical"
I found this awkward to get on, the suit was very stiff and seemed to be a bit uncomfortable around her neck. I think it would keep her warm, but would perhaps be better for an older child.

"good idea"
very easy to put on a baby (plenty of velcro!), keeps them warm, velcro means it will fit for quite a while. I did find it restricted movement in the water as the material is strong but also quite heavy and stiff. I tested a bright pink one with balloons on which I didn't think was very attractive! they look and work quite like a waterbottle cover.

"easy to use"
Very easy to use. Nice light pink gingham for girls. Didn't add confidence but she was certainly able to stay in longer. The suit is well made with strong seams so should last well until your child outgrows it. I have found there are slightly cheaper similar products on the market but quality is important.
