Rather disappointing

Parent Panel review by Claire - review date 30 May 2007
This buggy looks fantastic but unfortunately, for me, doesn't live up to expectations!

It is very lightweight but that also seems to be its downfall. I found that it didn't feel very stable and you certainly can't hang any shopping on the back or it'll fall. Being light it's easy to push with two hands but I found that the manoeverability suffered if I tried to push with one hand (because I had shopping in the other or perhaps might have been holding another child). On occassions the front wheels seemed to spin round (across the direction of travel).

It's meant to be a one-handed fold and release buggy. The release was no problem, mainly because the catch that's meant to hold the buggy together didn't seem to work and stay shut. This was annoying as the buggy would open as you went to put it away or get it out of the car. To fold the buggy I found that I couldn't use my foot to release it, I had to bend down and use my hand. I couldn't do this with my son in my arms and so it became an issue.

My son seemed to be comfortable in the seat and was certainly happy for a couple of hours round the shops. The harness was easy to adjust and sat well. The seat back is not very high and, at 11 months, my son's head was almost at the top. I'm not convinced that this would see him through. The seat does recline but as it is not that tall it's maybe not ideal if you have a child that will sleep in a buggy.

The star point of this buggy for me is the hood. There is an additional pull down sun visor that actually works to shield the child from the sun. Unfortunately there's a snag here too - the canopy won't stay attached when you fold the buggy - it just pops off.

The shopping basket is tiny and virtually inaccessible - you can put the rain cover in it (which is quite good) but little more. After a few weeks use this buggy squeeks and rattles and just doesn't feel like it's going to last. Rather disappointing.

"Dissapointing"
Difficult to use - wheels have a mind of their own. Quite hard to put up and down. Basket was small so not really very good fot too much shopping !

My daughter was however quite happy and the seat/harness was easy to use and she seemed quite comfortable.

Quiet attractive to look at.
