This buggy looks and performs really well and lived up to all of the expectations I had of Maclarens.
It is very lightweight and easy to push. It seems to be very stable and copes with city-life rather well. You can, just about get away with hanging shopping on the back but too much and it will tip. The basket under the buggy is small but, unlike some I tested, not inaccessible and so a couple of small bags will fit. If you do have more shopping, or maybe another child to hold, this is an easy buggy to push with one hand.
I found the buggy easy to collapse with one hand and, although I needed two hands to put it up this too was an easy thing to do. The hood stays in place when the buggy is folded and there is a viewing window in the hood so that you can keep your eye on your little one. It's something that I wouldn't have really considered before testing the buggies but I found it really useful.
My son seemed to be comfortable in the seat and was certainly happy for a couple of hours round the shops. The harness was easy to adjust and sat well. The seat size seemed about right, not too small that you felt he would soon outgrow it, but not too large that he lolled about. In fact, the only negative comment I could make is that the buggy I tried was bright pink and I felt a bit odd pushing a boy in it! It does, of course, come in other colours!
The seat reclines and was perfectly acceptable for a buggy. There is also a foot rest which can be pulled out or pushed in to allow the child to rest their legs. This was a bit fiddly at first but worked as well as a more traditional tilting foot rest. You could let a child go to sleep in this.
The brakes on this buggy operate by moving a lever to the side rather than the more common push up/down mechanisms that appear on many buggies. I found this a little odd to get used to but ultimately the brakes held well and I had more confidence in the fact that they were on than some other models.
I found the handle height was good and the handles were softly padded for comfort. Worked for me!
I would highly rate this buggy.

"Things keep breaking"
Almost every time I take this on a plane, something breaks. The first time, one of the canopy hood supports broke. The next time, the front of the caopy snapped under the fabric (so now the whole hood is looking pretty sad!). On the last flight I took, the plastic bit on the back for collapsing the pushchair disappeared. Beware baggage handlers! It's not all bad, however, I do like how light and easy to steer it is - a real breeze - even with a broken canopy.

"Fab second pushchair!"
We've bought this pushchair for our 14 month old daughter, and are so pleased with it! Its so lightweight, and seems to steer really easily. Only downside is that within minutes of it being delivered one of the poppers that secure the seat cover in place had come off, so we are awaiting a replacement but other than that we think its great and our little girl looks really comfortable in it!

"an update on previous review"
I reviewd this product about a year ago and said that I loved it. Well I do still really like the pushchair but I have had to have 3 replacements in a year so I dont think the build quality is all that good. Luckily I bought it from a good retailer (Next) so I have had a brand new one sent out to me each time. At first I thought it was just bad luck but 3 in a row seems a bit extreme! I still think it is fab though and would recommend it, but I would definately say to buy from a reputable company!

"I Love My Maclaren Quest!"
I got this pram less than a week ago and I already love it! I bought it as the pram we have been using since DD was born is too big and clumsy, and the little cheap one we bought for short trips was just too flimsy and uncomfortable. I spent ages deciding which pushchair to buy and I think i definately made the right choice.
It's light weight and easy to push even with one hand. Plus it has lots of useful features such as lockable front swivel wheels, easy to access basket, pocket at the back for phone, multi position back rest, hood with viewing window etc.
Its easy to fold up and down and comes in a range of lovely fabrics (we've got the chocolate and pink which looks fab).
My little girl is clearly impressed with it too as she keeps pushing it round the house looking very proud and it must be comfy as she's happy to sit in it for a while when in her other prams she would make a fuss and prefer to walk.
I would definately recommend this for babies 6 months upwards, especially for use in towns/cities.

"I LOVE IT!!!"
I bought this pushchair for my daughter when she was just coming up for her 2nd birthday. I bought the chocolate brown and pink version and I think it is a lovely looking pushchair. I was a little wary of buying it as I had a Maclaren Techno XT when my daughter was younger and I didnt like it, but I thought I would give the quest a go. I have found it very hard to accept that my daughter is no longer a baby and only needs a stroller-I have had 6 pushchairs in total so I feel like a bit of an expert!
The quest offered me everything I needed and wanted in a stroller, I also purchased a pink Maclaren footmuff to go with it for the colder months-and unlike most footmuffs it is long enough to use right up until my little angel is walking!
It is so lightweight and compact when folded. It looks comfortable and my daughter is very happy to sit in it-in fact when we are at home and the pushchair is in the conservatory she often goes and gets in it herself and sits reading books for ages-so it must be comfy!!
I love the fact that it still reclines comfortably for snoozes and the adjustable footrest is also a bonus-I would say that you are getting everything you would expect from a much bulkier pushchair in a smaller package.
The only thing I would say is that they recommend it from 3 months+ and I personally would say that this is too young, I dont think I would be happy to put a baby in it under 6 months of age, but thats just my opinion!

"LOVE IT!!!!"
I am a maclaren fan i admit but i LOVE this buggy. You wouldn't use it from birth and i would suggest from about 5/6 months.
It is small & lightweight but very sturdy & robust. I have been using mine for 2 1/2 years and is still going strong including us taking this to Portugal. It's great value for money, it 4 reclining positions & a adjustable leg rest, viewing window in the hood & small mesh pocket for purse & mobile & comes with a rain cover. It's roomy too both my baby & my 3 year old fit nicely in this. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a decent buggy but but maybe can't afford the techno model. Maclaren tend to change the colours, design of the wheels etc about every year so for an extra bargin try to get an older fabric as they tend to knock a fair amount of money off of these & that amount of time the buggy will last you the fabric will have changed several times anyway.

"Can't go wrong"
Hi highly recommend this buggy. It is so tempting when pregnant to fall for all the blurb about "comfy" ride for your newborn over lightweight/easy to use. Maclarens are great value and last and last. if you add a good cosy-toes are still comfy and both my chidlren have preferred a slightly bumpier ride anyway - cobble stones are the best way to get a baby to sleep in a pushchair! You don't need suspension!!

"A good buy"
I got one of these for a weekend away in London and was very impressed with it.
I added a head hugger for my little girl, to give her extra support.
I found it very light, easy to manouvere and quick to put up and down. Only thing to make it better would be a proper sunshade!
