Sitting here now , I realise that I came upon this product at the perfect time. My Daughter is 11 months and has been walking around ( unsteadily) for about a month now. In the last few weeks she decided she wanted to walk outside and no longer wants to sit in her buggy. I was torn between letting her walk around whilst we were out and trying to push the buggy too, or risk having a screaming toddler for the time we were out because she was in the buggy. Or not take the buggy and end up with a very sore back from all the unsupported carrying neccesary...

Enter the Hipseat. I decided to use this and let her walk when she wanted and therefore I could carry her without breaking my back when she no longer wanted to walk. It is fantastic and well worth a buy if you are in the same predicament as me. It has really helped with supporting my back and I always feel very secure wearing it and using it with my daughter.

I use it for popping into my local shops to a walk in the country and I make sure I have it with me all the time. It is very well made and comfortable, easy to use and looks smart too. It also folds up quite small when needing to store in luggage, or buggy basket and the handy pockets inside the belt (for passports etc) make it ideal for holidays.

Brilliant invention!

The hipseat was recommended to me by a chiropractor friend.

It is essentially a bum bag with a polystyrene-type seat inside.

From the moment I first used it I noticed a difference - it certainly stopped me slouching to one side and my son was instantly lighter!

I was concious that you would notice it but I have the black one and once my son is sat on it you can hardly see it. In fact, many people have stopped me to ask how I'm carrying him as they can't see it under my coat!

I use my hipseat every day, even around the house. My advice would be to try it - I was sceptical at first but couldn't believe the difference it made.
