"A Resounding Success"
I was first recommended theBabasling in a chocolate shop! At the time I thought it must be a good omen and I was right. TheBabaSling has been a resounding success in so many ways. My baby sits comfortably close to me, making him feel instantly secure and settled, which in turn puts me at my ease.

I am a mum of two and have always opted for the the carrying rather than wheeling baby around approach. But first time round I had a conventional forward-facing carrier. It felt like a contraption to wear, offered baby only one position to be carried in and lasted for a mere six months. If that hadn't put me off, the medical advice warning of its lack of support on baby's delicate spine certainly did stop me from using it for our second baby.

Since theBabaSling supports the spine and my baby loves it, time spent in the sling is unrestricted. He sleeps, feeds and travels in it. What's more, whereas the conventional carrier used to pull forward, especially as my baby grew, making my shoulders ache for hours after wearing it, theBabaSling distributes weight across the shoulders and back - so no more aches and pains! I enjoy wearing the sling and, as a bonus with the fun colours to choose from, it looks good too!

"BRILLIANT PRODUCT"
I was so skeptical of baby slings espiecally when a friend bought one for her daughter. Then on a long weekend in London I bought one because the pushchair kept getting in the way. It paid for itself within 5 minutes- a grumpy 5 month old went to angel child in seconds and fell asleep in it. I carried her all day around London in it and the only thing that hurt were my shoes! Thereafter I used it all the time- often leaving the pushchair behind because I loved the bonding we did. I am now expecting number 2 and its on the top of my wishlist. My only regret was waiting 5 months to purchase one!

"Must Have and great for spontaneity"
I have fallen in love with the idea of babywearing and have purchased theBabaSling. It helps with bonding and is lovely feeling, plus makes life a lot easier; I can get on with house work and pop out to take the dog for a walk with no hassle! The good thing is it gives the correct support for my babies head and spine. Lots of different carring positions too!

"Uncomfortable"
I regretted buying this, and sold it again within a few weeks.

I watched the online demos, looked in the little guide book, and even asked for advice at a Babyshow, but I still couldn't get it adjusted so that my back didn't ache. My son got very hot in it as well, and it wasn't easy getting him in and out by myself. Very disappointing purchase.

"Ouch!"
Well I would love to get some advice on how to use this thing from the other reviewers. I have found the babasling to be the most uncomfortable thing I have ever clipped around myself and I have had some uncomfortable underwired bras! I bought it for a trip into London so that I could take my toddler in the lightweight buggy on the tube and safely carry my 3month old baby. Well after about half an hour I ripped off the sling as my shoulders started to really hurt, put the baby in the buggy and had to get my toddler to walk! I would love to know what I'm doing wrong. Perhaps the manufacturers could sort out some lessons - the website is great but I just can't seem to get comfy. I don't know how it's possible with ALL the weight resting on the top half of one of your shoulders and not distributed evenly over your whole back?

"saved the day!"
We've had this sling for 6 months and it has been brilliant. Sophie was a very colic-y baby and carrying her in the sling really made her feel happier.

Walking our dog everyday in the woods was much easier without the pram negotiating gates etc and I felt confident to have both hands free. Its comfy to wear and easy to adjust for both my husband and I.

I use it round town, supermarkets, out for lunch etc and she happily sits and watches the world go by and is very happy to sleep in it too.

Now she is older (and heavier!) she likes to sit on my hip so she can see forwards.

I've had nothing but compliments from people, and lots of questions about how it works, where to get it etc.

Only marked down on value for money as I paid more than the babyworld shop is offering it for, but as it has been used most days it is still good value.

"fantastic"
I have been using this sling daily for just over four months and love it. I bought it originally for those quick stops but find myself using it more and more in preference to the pushchair. It never gives me backache and have used for 2 plus hours regularly.

I find it very simple to use, I adjusted it when it arrived and have not had to change it since, I do not even undo the buckle to take it on and off it goes over my head handbag style.

I think the instructions for the different postitions for putting you baby in make it seem complicated when it isn't. I found it very natural as your baby grows the position you put them in changes gradually according to their growth and development.

As ever there are lots of gimmicks on the market that claim will make your life easier, this is no gimmick it is just great!!

"Excellent carrier"
The babasling is by far the best thing I've tried for carrying Emma. I found with some front facing carriers that I was getting bad back ache. This is totally eliminated by the babasling. Emma loves it too and it's so easy to get her in and out of. I use it almost every day to carry her from the nursery to the car. I don't know how well I'd cope for any long distance, especially now that she's getting heavy, but for those times when it's too much bother to get the pram out I'd say the sling is perfect. It's ideal for breastfeeding with some privacy too!

Lastly, it's very easy to use if you are just going 'basic'. You're supposed to be able to carry older babies on your back but as yet I've not worked this out - I don't appear to have enough pairs of hands to do it! As Emma is quite happy facing me then it hasn't really been a problem, it just would have been nice to try.

All in all I think the babasling is worth every penny and I'd recommend it to anyone.
