"excellent product"
We researched the next level of car seat for Tilly and it took us weeks to finally find the Recaro. Our car is an older sports car and lots would not fit but this one fitted perfectly. It is very comfy and Tilly always falls asleep and we know the seat will take her till she is 12 years old so I think a great product and great value over the 12 years it lasts

"Why would you settle for less?"
I am very particular about car safety, and the recaro was set apart from every other car seat we looked at. The only real "bugbear" I have experienced is that the straps can get in a bit of a tangle with the strap becoming doubled up and stuck sometimes. Otherwise is ace! Have got two!

"Poor quality and service"
Bought the Recaro YS and within 6 months the flappy piece of material that covers the belt adjustable had come unstitched, the plastic toggle that is at the end of the belt adjustable also came off in my hand - please note this plastic bit is of a VERY chokeable size and can easily be reached by the child while sitting in it. The belt is also quite naff - where it "slides through the locking part, it quite often doubles up and gets jammed - nightmare trying to get this unstuck and keep your child occupied, especially in the rain! Also, if you loosen the belt too far, it can actually come unhooked from the back harness loops, meaning you have to undue the car seatbelt securing it to the car, turn it around and reattach... all in all, not impressed, I'd expect this from a £40 car seat, not one knocking on £200....

Our little girl is so happy in this seat and looks so comfortable.

Have looked at other seats and the quality just doesnt look as good.

"Fantastic seat"
What a fantastic seat for a long term solution.

We brought it to go in my husbands car. As its a top of the range sports edition its got leather seats and bolstered seats making it hard to get a seat to fit.

All other models didn`t fit, we tried all the top retailers. And finaly we found this seat. It fits perfectly in the seat, seatbelt goes round fine and doen`t slip on the seat.

The material is so soft and cosy, our nine month old daughter loves it, it also means she can see out of the window. She often moans when she has to go in my car now but not when we go in daddys car!

we looked around for a long time for another car seat for my daughter, and this is the one whiched ticked all the boxes like easy to put in different cars, really comfortable for her, and is great because it is also a great long term solution, and we will be buying another one soon!!

"A definate must have"
I bought this product as Recaro is a well known brand. The seat is easy to fit, extremely comfortable for my toddler and the fabric is lovely.

Thsi seat is made to an exceptionally high standard and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one for my next child.

The fabric of this car seat is excellant, however the seat belt routing is very awkward it doesn't sit in place properly and also rubbed on my daughters neck. Abbie said it was soft and cuddley however I felt that it was not very good value for money.

This seat is made to a high standard, but it is very heavy and the seat belt didn't sit very well around the neck area and was quite uncomfortable for my son, its may be ok from 9 months with the 3 point harness, but wouldn't want to spend the money on it if I couldn't use it fully.

"Just didn't like"
Although this was easy to fit and seemed of a high quality especially in terms of safety, my son just couldn't get on with it. Both with and without the harness he was uncomfortable and could not look out of the window which upset him. It was also very heavy and difficult to transport, although it was made easier by a useful carry handle at the top which was useful.
