"average pre-fold"
this is a basic pre-fold and does what it says on the tin really. I would not use it at night as it lacks side padding, and not reliable for a runnier poo. it also got bunched up as William moved around. The wrap seemed better quality than the Bambino Mio.

"Mixed feelings on this one"
This nappy is a two part system, consisting of a flat pad which you fold into 3 to make a rectangle. It is held in place with the velcro fastening wrap which goes over the top. It was easy to put on, but also for my todder to take off!

The pad was quite thick and surprisingly slow drying (slower than some of the shaped nappies).

In terms of containment, it was ok with wee - performing better than the All In One nappy, but I did get escapes of poo, I think because of it being a flat pad rather than a shaped nappy, and maybe the wrap not being the best possible fit.

I loved the pretty lilac colour of the wraps and the Bamboo fabric of the pad (much nicer than the more common cotton prefold pads), but overall would prefer a shaped nappy to a flat pad. With this nappy if Olivia takes the wrap off, which she can do easily, the whole nappy is on the floor in one easy move!

Though the pads are cheaper than a shaped nappy I think you'd need more wraps because of the leaks, so it would end up costing about the same overall. I'd say if you wanted to use this nappy you really do need to try one or two before buying a full set to ensure they work/fit your baby well.

These nappies came with camomile impregnated liners that are said to help with nappy rash. They smelt lovely and did seem to help Olivia when she had some redness (she was cutting 4 new teeth during the trial)! I'd certainly use those again.
