"Medela dual breast pump"
This is a must have for all multiple mums, or even breast-feeding mums of singletons! I breast feed my twin boys for the first 4 months and could not of done it without the dual breast pump. Yes, you do feel like a bit of a dairy cow at times and others (i.e. husbands) find it highly amusing, but I could not have breast fed two babies at once without it. I have also just sold it on ebay for nearly what we paid for it new so, even though it may be expensive, you will get back most of what you paid for it. it is a really good investment.

"MUST HAVE"
I have Used my Pump In Style Advanced everyday normally about twice a day for 10 months, and it is excellent. The pump is Quick and efficient and feels just like baby. Medela's customer service is also fantastic. I recently had a slight problem with my pump which could have been easily repaired but they just replaced with a brand new one on the spot. You dont often get customer service like that.

"Express dairies!"
Well after 6 days spent in hospital trying to master the fine art of breast feeding my twins, I thought there was nothing more my poor boobies and I could possibly experience.Having twins brings its own share of public interest as all twin mums will agree but I got the feeling that my breasts had become celebrities in their own right at the hospital. With at least 10 different midwifes having a turn at "shaping" my nipples to suit my fussy boy who refused to latch on without a fight, to having minute dribs of colostorum sucked into a syringe in front of a couple of my poor unsuspecting visitors, what ever next!
Surely now we had cracked it, (no pun intended,) with 5 successful weeks at the GG Dairy resulting in two very contented rapidly expanding babies.
However I decided that a bit of help at feeding time could only be a good thing, especially for the ear drums, and I have a theatre trip booked in march, when I will be leaving the twins with their Grandma so thought it best to be prepared in case I had any problems.
So at last onto the review....
The pump itself is presented in or should I say disguised as a swish black rucksack, so fab to take to the office or workplace, although this is reflected in the price. Its not too heavy and has loads of handy storage pockets, as well as a cool bag to store 4 bottles and the ice pack.
It can be plugged in or run off of batteries, although you will need 10 which should give around 3 hours of "pumping power."
For my purpose, using the pump at home my main concerns were how easy would it be to use and would it hurt!
The answer to the first I soon found out ,thanks to clear easy to read yet brief instructions was ...Yes it is really simple to use and comes apart easily for cleaning.
Secondly does it hurt...not at all. It was a new experience for the three of us, my boobs and I...and one I was glad to keep private, finding that the best results were achieved when I relaxed in a quiet atmosphere, (a rare thing in a twin household)and expressed earlier in the day or when I felt most full.
I would reccomend this breast pump if you are looking for an efficient way to express with the option of single or dual action. Quick and easy but not too squeezy...with a choice of speeds to suit you and your breasts as well as an extra bit of kit for manual expressing.
I.M.O a brilliant choice for breast feeding mums of singles or mltiples alike.
