Christmas cracker quiz

Are you a festive fanatic, a seasonal scrooge or somewhere in between?

Take our quiz to see just how much you love, hate or abide the season to be jolly.

When do you normally start your Christmas shopping?

In dribs and drabs from October onwards.
At 3pm on Christmas Eve
In the January sales.

Having Christmas decorations and music in the shops from October is:

Appalling - there should be a law against it.
A bit tiresome
Wonderful! The sooner the better.

How much do you decorate your house at Christmas?

Decorate? A tree is as good as it gets.
A wreath on the door, a Christmas tree, and a few santas here and there for the kids.
We put up lights, holly, mistletoe, reindeer, santas, snowflakes ... and that's just the outside!

The best place to spend Christmas is:

At home, quietly, with just my partner and children.
At home, with all the extended family, of course!
In a country where they don't celebrate it. Or on a beach.

On Christmas Eve, how excited are you?

I'm more excited at the prospect of Boxing Day, when it's nearly all over.
Looking forward to opening the presents but a little wary of the family get-together.
More than the children - I just can't sleep!

The perfect Christmas dinner is:

Anything but turkey. Please, no more turkey!
When someone else cooks it.
Turkey (or veg alternative) with all the trimmings, Christmas pud, mince pies, chocolates, wine...

After Christmas dinner, you think...

… I'm stuffed: I need a good brisk walk!
…Now it's time to start playing charades!
… How many turkey leftover dinners are there ahead of me?

The perfect Christmas film is:

Meet the Fockers
It's a Wonderful Life
Nightmare on Elm Street

What's the best part of Christmas day?

All of it! It's impossible to distinguish one aspect over another.
Opening the presents.
Bedtime - the insanity is over for another 364 days!

When Christmas is over, you feel...

Sad, but cheer yourself up by thinking about next year.
A little relieved, though things didn't go too badly.
Certain you'll never do it all again (but you always do...).
