Ear,
ear
I found I was all fingers and thumbs when my daughter was born and the idea
of trying to take her temperature with a conventional thermometer filled me
with horror! So, I highly recommend this gadget - an ear thermometer- that takes
temperatures in 2 seconds! Brilliant! Mark Sampson, dad to Polly, Liverpool
The
brilliant bugaboo!
It makes a nice change to be at the cutting edge of pram fashion! The bugaboo
pram is sensible as well as stylish and is easy to push. The handle is high
(probably because the Dutch are tall), which saves backache as I'm 6ft 3in.
It's compact and fast around town, and so light that in the country it's easy
to lift over stiles. And it has lovely suspension with no rattles or squeaks!
Tom Murray, dad of three, London.

Honourable mention: Nikki Pitts says her husband loves the Mutsy pushchair
as it's really durable and stylish, but the particularly loves the articulated
steering! "He spent ages pushing it round the shop steering it with just
one finger!" says Nikki
Seating
plan
This has to be the cleverest little design to come along in years! I feel all
fingers and thumbs when carrying my daughter around and trying to do things
at the same time. This little seat is so perfect for putting her in so she can
see what's going on. It's really light and very durable - great for popping
in the car and taking to grannies, too! Christopher Sledger, dad to William,
Northants.
Boards
for boys
I have a baby and a toddler and without a doubt the buggy board is my favourite
gadget. It allows the boys and I, Sam six months and Eli two years, to head
for adventures in the park which is quite a walk from our house. Eli hops on
the back of the buggy happily as we head for home. It's easy to attach and fits
almost all single and double buggies so I know I can continue to use it if we
change our buggy. Paul, London
Steamy
windows!
I really rate our steam steriliser - it's fast, safe and simple to use it's
got cool inbuilt electronics that warn you if you've added too much water or
too little. The digital display shows you minutes remaining to cycle completion
and a friendly beep reminds you when sterilisation is complete. Shane, dad
to Joseph, London

It's a hold up!
My hubbie is obsessed with the drinks holders that come on pushchairs. He wanted
us to have any pushchair that had the tray and drinks holder near the handle.
I wanted a Mamas and Papas Pliko so you can imagine the look of delight on his
face when it had a detachable drinks holder, he was over the moon! Donna

Up
front and personal
I like the front carrier that we have for our daughter - popping her in that
for walks when she was tiny was wonderful especially as it had wide straps and
was easily adjustable for comfort! Another item I found useful is the Thermos
flask we bought to warm up her bottles - meant she could have warm milk anywhere
and everywhere without a kettle! Carl Pope, dad to Holly, Oxford
