I am 31, expecting our first baby any day now (due beginning
of October) and live with my husband and our 4 dogs in Northern Italy,
although originally I am from East London (we moved here in July 2006).
Danielle Swindlehurst
I am 25 and mum of two girls aged six and one. I married in October
2006 and currently trying for number three!
Hannah
Hiscock
I am a 25 year old SAHM to two gorgeous boys (2 years and 6months).
My eldest was 12 weeks premature but we are extremely lucky to have had
no lasting effects, after a 2lb14oz baby, his brother came as a shock
seeing such a huge chubby newborn! (8lb11). I am thankful everyday for
being blessed with two wonderful children.
Howard
Robinson
I am a 32 year old full-time stay at home dad to Ella (15 months) however
I do get some respite during the school holidays as my wife Claire is
a teacher. We live in Solihull in the West Midlands but are considering
a move North to enjoy more family support.
I was a good candidate to stay at home as I found my previous career
in marketing particularly tedious and unfulfilling.
Carole
Le Bon
I'm nearly 39, married to Andy since August 1996 and Mum to the "BW
famous" Bea , who was born in March 2006 and became our daughter in
December 2006. She's now nearly 14 months old and is our ray of sunshine.
I am a SAHM and loving every minute, my favourite pastime now includes
Jo Jingles and my social life revolves around Costas and Starbucks rather
than pubs! I am Moderator of the Adoption & Fostering and FAO Forums.
Linda
Todd
Linda Todd I'm a yummy mummy to, two gorgeous little boys Alex (6) and
Matthew (4). I'm currently enjoying a career break from my job as a civil
servant and I am married to Craig who is in the Royal Navy. I am also
one of the Moderators here on Babyworld for the Forces and Feeling Down
Forums.
Suzy
Williams
I'm 41 and live with my partner and our two children (Kira 4yrs & Jamie
3yrs) on the south coast. I work full time as a sexual health nurse while
DP works part time as a children's nurse so we can share the childcare
between us. In my spare time as well as moderating a few forums here on
babyworld.co.uk I do a bit of online and real life support around issues
to do with homebirth (both my children were born at home) and breastfeeding.
Marion
Laws
I'm 35 and live in Oxford with my husband and two-year-old daughter.
I work three days a week, in publishing, and my mum looks after Rachel
for one of those days. I don't have any time for hobbies at the moment,
except chatting to friends about toddler issues! We’re now expecting our
second baby in August.
Morag
Peers
Although originally from Scotland I now live in Oxford with my husband
and my son Rory who was born in March 2003. I am a 32-year-old full-time,
stay-at-home mum but, before having my son, I worked in a number of different
fields, from marketing to finance.
Helen
Walters
I'm 42 years old, married to the lovely Ben and have three children:
Katia (3.5) and twins Jake and Alex. (10 months). Sadly Katia, who is
a wonderful little girl, is profoundly physically and mentally disabled
due to oxygen deficiency at birth. However the boys are completely healthy
and a total delight. I took Clomid prior to both pregnancies as I suffered
from low progesterone levels, which hindered ovulation.
I live a busy life in Dorset juggling teaching four days a week, looking
after my brood and a crazy dog called Maxi.
Susi
Lingard
My name is Susi and I'm married to Antony We have a one-year-old son
named Jude and live in Hampstead, North London. I left work to bring up
Jude and am not currently planning to return but would like to increase
our family instead!
Leanne
Ingram
My name's Leanne Ingram, 24, from South Yorkshire. I am married and
have 1 son (five and a half months), four cats and a dog. I'm currently
not working and am enjoying being at home with my son. I was working as
a support worker for adults with learning disabilities before I became
pregnant, and hope to start my nurse training (mental health) this September.
I love to read anything to do with mental health, or childcare, and enjoy
girlie novels when I get the chance. I also spend far too much time on
the internet, doing anything from chatting to other mums to entering competitions!!!!!!
Teresa
Lodge
I am 31 years old and have a 8-month-old son called Jack, who was a
massive 9lb 1oz when born! I live with my partner and we are both really
enjoying being new parents and learning something new each day.
Lisa
Blackman
I'm a 27 year old (feel 15 though) farmer's wife, with two daughters
and I am expecting a little boy in November. We also have four chickens
and two dogs! I work from home doing the books and paperwork for the farm
which fits in well with the children and animals. As far as books go,
I loved the Fat Ladies books and I have a copy of Solve Your Child's Sleep
Problems by my bedside and a a well thumbed copy of Toddler Taming.
Helen
Batchelor
I'm 34, and am a work-from-home mum of one 8-going-on-14-year
old! Samuel is more pre-teen at this age than I ever remember being. My
husband and I are trying to conceive No 2. I used to be the moderator
for babyworld's Working Mums forum.
Victoria
Hicks
I'm 24, married to Graham and currently on maternity leave awaiting
the arrival of "bump" in July 2005. I also have a beautiful baby son,
Matthew, aged 18 months and a lovely stepdaughter, Cassie, aged 11. I'm
an enthusiastic user of cloth nappies and when Matthew allows me (!) I
love to curl up with a good book (something I don't think I'll get too
much time for when new baby arrives!)
Andrea
Mars
I am 37 years old, married to Paul and have 2 boys, Alexander (Alex)
who is 4 and Samuel (Sam) who is 2. We live in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire.
We love going to the zoo, the park, reading, playing in the garden and
Brewsters for meals. I like to read, go the theatre and pictures and watch
football and rugby.
Ian Staples
I am 34 years old and a part-time stay-at-home dad to four children
- Megan, Hannah, Abbi and Owen.
Laura
Nicholson
I have 2 children, Lucy (11 months) and Nicholas (nearly 7). Nicholas
has had many problems since being born at 42 weeks by emergency section
and we believe he has autism. We are finally getting there now! My husband
is in the army.
Natalie
Waines
I live in Bristol with my partner Ross and our gorgeous 12-week-old
baby, Zachary. I love reading and writing, watching movies and, to my
shame, I am a hopeless telly addict, especially soaps!
