One foggy morning the rooster on Bonnie Bumble's farm loses his
cock-a-doodle-doo.
All the other animals on the farm try making
their own versions of the morning call ("The cow went moo-a-moodle-moo!"). But they don't
work, so Bonnie Bumble sets about searching the farm for the
rooster's voice.
She searches the whole farm, from the pigpen to the
henhouse and, when the
rooster's sound is finally found, Bonnie Bumble is so sleepy from all
that looking, she does her own version, which is "Snore-a-snoodle-snoo!"
The illustrations are inviting and the book
is a good size for holding up at bedtime.
