What to pack for the birth

It’s a good idea to have everything ready for the birth from about 36 weeks of pregnancy.

Here’s a list of some of the things you may find useful during labour and afterwards. Check in advance to see whether you can use electrical appliances like cassette recorders if you are going into hospital - otherwise you may need to stock up on batteries.
