If you really dont want an induction, you can ask your obstetrician to monitor your babys heart on a daily basis and possibly get her agreement to wait a few more days to see if labour will start naturally.
If youre not clear about why an induction is being suggested, ask your obstetrician or midwife to explain the reason to you, and discuss with her the pros and cons of either accepting the induction or of waiting a bit longer.
