Tips from a babyworld dad in Thailand:
- Brand name nappies are easy to get in big towns but in smaller areas it is more
common for people to use cloth nappies
- Readymade babyfood is not widely used in Thailand; most people mash fresh fruit
instead, although baby rice is available
- Doctors in Thailand recommend no orange juice for children under one year as the
Thai variety may have viruses in the skin
- Baby wipes are not commonly used, most people use cotton wool and water. In this
dad’s nursery, they put the babies in the sink and turn the tap on!
