Tips from mums in Finland:
- Baby wipes are becoming increasingly common and many brands are available.
- Using formula milk powder to make up formula is not very common. Instead, ready-made formula is used. Tutteli is by far the most common brand, often even used by Finns as a generic name for formula.
- Pharmacies have a range of hypoallergenic and anti-reflux formulas, but a prescription is needed.

Tips from mums in France:
- Most mothers use Evian to make up baby bottles
- Babybio foods, available from Le Grand Epiciere section at the supermarket Bon Marche, have no added starches or sugars
- Supermarkets sell lait de croissance, baby milk for children 1yr+, in cartons or plastic bottles. Some need teats added
- Lait de croissance can be handy when travelling as fresh milk can be hard to get quickly. Fresh milk, as opposed to UHT milk, is often in the cheese section
- Baby yoghurts and fruit purees can be found in fridge sections of supermarkets
- I know English babies who have Milupa formula at home and were fed Gallia on holiday, without noticing the change
- Pharmacies have a range of hypoallergenic and anti-reflux formulas
