Pamela Brooks
Freelance copywriter and editor
Pamela Brooks has been a freelance copywriter and editor since she
decided not to return to full-time salaried work following the birth
of her son, Christopher, in 1997.
She has had 17 novels, four non-fiction books and over 70 short stories
commissioned (plus co-writing/editing
an encyclopaedia of home remedies).
Pamela lives in Norfolk with husband Gerard, three-year-old son Christopher,
baby daughter Chloe
and two
springer spaniels named Ben and Sally.
Her interests include children (with a particular interest in learning through play),
alternative health, local history and most things mediaeval. Says
Pamela: "I'm strongly influenced by Paddington Bear's maxim 'Life is like a
marmalade sandwich: you only get out of it what you put into it' I'm
used to doing three things at once – and I enjoy it!"
