Cot death awareness

The number of babies dying from cot death has decreased dramatically since the Foundation for the Study of Infant Death (FSID) introduced its specialist advice in 1991.

However, new research shows that breathing monitors cannot predict cot deaths and, according to FSID, there are still eight cot deaths a week in the UK. That's why it's crucial that parents have as much information as possible to help avert tragedy.
