Win tickets to The Baby Show, Glasgow, 4- 6 March 2005
A great day out for mums with tums!
Ever wished that babies came with a manual?! Having a baby opens up a whole new fascinating world which, as well as being very exciting, can also be confusing at times. That's where The Baby Show can help. The Baby Show, in association with Practical Parenting magazine, is a three day event, taking place at the SECC in Glasgow from 4-6 March, dedicated to pregnancy and childcare - with celebrity expert advice, the chance to try and buy all the nursery essentials you need as well as plenty to keep your baby or toddler amused.
Helping you make sense of it all are three celebrity expert speakers who will be sharing their advice from The Baby Show Stage - Dr Miriam Stoppard, Annabel Karmel and TV's Supernanny, Jo Frost.

Check www.thebabyshow.co.uk for details of dates and times of appearances.
There is also an opportunity to have a one-to-one chat with a professional at the Meet the Midwives Area. Midwives from all over Scotland will be available so that you can discuss, in confidence, any issues that are of interest to you - from pregnancy nutrition to breastfeeding.
Great deals are available from many of the companies at the Show. You can buy everything you need for your pregnancy, the nursery and beyond including your pushchair, nursery furniture, healthcare products, clothing, toys and car seats. And if you don't know which way to turn when it comes to choosing your pushchair or pram, test a whole range out on Mothercare's fantastic Pushchair Testing Assault Course to really put them through their paces. Other companies taking part at the Show include Pampers, Tomy, Tommee Tippee, John Lewis, Happitots Day Nurseries and Glasgow Pram Centre.
The
little ones will also have a great day out, with plenty to keep them amused
including the Huggies Adventure Playbus, the Weetabix/Readybrek Playhouse and
the Fairy Non-Bio Soft Play Zone. There is also a free crèche, packed with toys
from VTech so that you can enjoy the shopping, fashion shows and expert talks.
You can also take the opportunity to treat yourself to a relaxing massage at
Bottlegreen Indulgence Zone.
Whether you are pregnant or already proud mum or dad - it's an essential day out.
