"I know that all the girls are there for me 24/7"Hi, I wanted to let you know that my May 2007 antenatel club has been a lifesaver to me. They even sent Luke a teddy at Great Ormond Street! Luke has now completed his 6 treatments of chemotherapy and had surgery to have the tumour removed from his liver. I know that all the girls are there for me 24/7. Our group is still very active - and our babies are now nearly one. There is always something going on and girls asking for advice.
Luke (left) is doing well - we are hoping that he gets the all clear soon and then he will have blood tests taken every month for the next 2 years to make sure nothing is coming back.
Meet some other babyworld antenatal groups: Feb 07: "We'd like to thank babyworld for giving us the chance to meet each other" Aug 06: "The Aug 06 mums have been my glue" July 2005: "It was fantastic to finally see who we had been chatting to for so long!" Oct 04: "When we got together..."

My
son Luke was 6 months old when he was diagnosed with liver cancer a week
before Christmas 2007. It has been a terribly hard time for me and my
family but all the girls in the May 07 baby Antenatal club (and some from
June 07) have been so supportive and been there for me. Even though I
have only met a few of them "face to face", I feel as though I know them
all so well.
There
are probably about 30 girls that post regularly - some more than others.
They are all in the UK. There have been various meet ups around the
country . I have attended the southern gathering at a farm in September
07, where the picture of our babies was taken, below (my little boy
is on the far left). There have been other meet ups at someone's house
and at the shops. We also had a Christmas get-together in London - just
for Mummies, see us all above - that's me at the front on the right!
We are hoping to do another big meet to celebrate our baby's birthdays.
