early Christmas present
It's surprising the effect Christmas carols can have!
I couldn't wait any longer!
After my auntie Turple decided to play me some Christmas carols in my
mummy's tummy I decided I couldn't wait much longer to see my family.
My mummy (Laura) went to bed on Christmas Eve with a tummy ache. What
she didn't know was that I was making an appearance!
I finally got her to wake up and get daddy to take her to the hospital
at 3am on Christmas day. When she got there the nurses said I was on the
way.
I was a bit early
After four-and-a-half hours, at 7.31am I made my appearance. I weighed
3lb 10 oz. Although I was nine weeks early, I was in good health. I spent
two days on a ventilator as my lungs had a bit of trouble but now, two
weeks later, I am doing well. I now weigh 4lb 2 oz.
I would also like to say "get well soon" to my friend in the neonatal
unit at Dewsbury Hospital - Lauren Paige. And "hello" to her mummy and
daddy who live next door to my grandma and grandad.
