Hello babyworld!
I am married to Graham and have two children, James who is 10 and Charlotte
who is nearly 8. My husband and I endured over 5 emotional years to conceive
our children through IVF treatments and I finally fell pregnant with James
on what I said was going to be my last attempt. Both pregnancies had various
complications so I understand that every pregnancy can be distressing
at times, full of excitement and most of all very individual to a new
mum-to-be.
My children have been the best thing that has ever happened to me and
they make me feel complete and whole in our ever demanding world.
I have a varied working background having been an Editor for a parenting
website for over 6 years, but I have experience in project management
training, IT training, administration and project work. I hope to bring
some hands on experience of knowing what it is like trying to conceive,
the emotions surrounding pregnancy and what it is like to be a parent
raising two active children.
This exciting part of my life finds me looking forward to working with
the fabulous team at babyworld and we will continue to bring you up to
date information, support when you need it, a community to make those
much needed friends, an exciting and extensive selection of products from
the shop and competitions for you to enter and win.
I am so looking forward to developing and improving the site and being
a part of your babyworld!
