Hi! I'm Linda (Born Jan '76) I am the forces forum Mod.

I married Craig (Born June '74) in August 1995. We have two gorgous sons, Alex (Born Mar '00) and Matthew (Born Oct '02) As well as two dogs, a chinchilla and tropical fish!!

Craig is in the Royal Navy based out of Plymouth. We used to live in base port in Naval married quarters but now live up north (Teeside) in our own house. I am well accustomed to the military lifestyle as I grew up an 'Army brat' and after advice from my mum never to marry a soldier, I went one better and married a matelot!! So I have spent my entire life living in the shadow of the military and its many rules and regs!

The forces forum is somewhere you can come to share your experiences of military life and seek advice if you need it as well. Not only are you in good company with others who know how isolated and complex the lifestyle can be but often there will be plenty of good sound advice and friends to chat with about your day when your partner is away on deployment/excercise. I look forward to welcoming you into the forum.
