Debbie
Honer
Health Visitor and Public Health Lecturer
Debbie works at University College Worcester as Senior Lecturer in Public
Health. She previously worked as a health visitor in Birmingham for ten
years before taking a Masters degree in Public Health at Birmingham University.
Debbie lives with her partner Ben and two of her four children in a small
town in Worcestershire.
'I love children and have a passion for ensuring that children grow
up healthy and happy. Some experts suggest that this generation of children
could be the first to die before their parents. It is this horrific thought
that spurs my interest in the health of children'.
'I also have an empathy with parents, raising children is such a difficult
job at times and there are not many problems that I have not experienced
with my children over the past 23 years!'
I think babyworld is such a great resource for parents,
you can get support from other parents and ask questions that you may
be afraid to ask face to face.
