"Most mums recognise the health benefits of breastfeeding but many get into difficulties which are often due to inadequate support and a lack of confidence.
"Over the last 50 years, as a society, we seem to have lost the art and wisdom of breastfeeding. As the babyworld breastfeeding advisor, I represent all those grannies, sisters, and aunts, with their wealth of breastfeeding experience and knowledge, that would have surrounded and supported every new mother a century ago.
"I hope to dispel the myths and misconceptions that surround the art of breastfeeding, so that mothers who choose to breastfeed today can do so with a confidence that will be passed on to the next generation.
"Remember breastfeeding has to be learned, so make sure you keep your sense of humour, especially when all around you are losing theirs!"
Ali White.
